As has been declared from the White House just this morning, federal money will now go into the scientific research community for the purpose of making advances in stem cell therapies and cures. How do you feel about your money going into the coffers of the federal government and then being funneled into the wallets of universities and companies killing human embryos in the name of science? Though I was not suprised based on the comments President Obama made during his campaign, I was disappointed to see that he did follow through on those specific comments surrounding the reversal of the Bush administration's restrictions on stem cell research. As a citizen of the United States, or an advocate of the integrity of human life, you should care.... and care enough to be informed. It's a sad day, eh? I'm pretty bummed about it, though not at all surprised. It was the topic of Al Mohler's radio program today as well. Unfortunately I have several family members who think this is great.
Obama earned his title of the "Abortion President" in one of the first days of his term. He has since authorized millions of our tax dollars to pay for abortions and those who counsel women to get abortions. He lifted restrictions on funding foreign aid programs that fund abortions. Now he has authorized not only the use of embryos (babies) left over from ferilization clinics, but also has authorized federal money to produce such embryos (babies) for the specific purpose of experimentation. This man, who ran under the banner of hope and change, is on a sprint to prove he is the most evil man to ever occupy the office. We as a country must pray for God's mercy and forgiveness. Perhaps the economy is just the beginning of God's judgement. Thank you Sarah for being one health professional who stands up in defense of these who are defenseless.
The kids at school mentioned this during channel one and thankfully, every single one of them was opposed to it!! Hooray for my kids.

Yes this was very troubling. God have mercy on us as a nation! I wonder what the answer to these frozen embryos is though-who will step up and carry these babies to term? Maybe we can do more. I am absolutely opposed to "using"/killing them for research, of course.
